This print is to celebrate the Wells Harbour Commissioners 360th Anniversary 1663 – 2023 and the designation of the Port of Wells becoming a Heritage Harbour.

The scene depicts Wells in the early 1800’s showing the old steam tug, the wicker top channel markers and a ship unloading at Walkers jetty, before transporting the cargo by horse and cart back to the town via the marsh, or being loaded and unloaded onto a barge and floated around to the Old Haven via the turning posts for unloading.

The print has been painted by local artist and ex Harbour Commissioner Godfrey Sayers, from Wells Harbour Commissioners archives.”

The prints are landscape, measuring 38.5 cm long and 31 cm high and each print is new/unopened, numbered, and signed by the artist. They will arrive unframed.

There are a limited number of 300 prints available.
