The Larn opened its doors in October 2024, promising an unparalleled experience for visitors seeking relaxation and connection with nature. The space has been transformed to provide a harbour haven where individuals can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and find a moment of solace.

The Port of Wells remains committed to fostering the cultural and historical richness of Wells. The transformation of the Tide Gauge into The Larn signifies not just a restoration project, but a visionary endeavour to create a harmonious blend of history, art, and natural beauty.

The Larn is available for hire for a 30-minute unique experience on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am-3pm £4.00 per person (maximum of 6 persons per visit).

Full and half day bookings are welcome for groups, pop-ups, workshops and podcasts during the week and at weekends (dependant on availability)

Please note The Larn isn’t suitable for persons under the age of 16years, dogs or persons with restricted mobility due to the steep incline.
