Welcome to the
Port of Wells
The Commissioners and Staff at the Port of Wells would like to welcome you to Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We hope that you find our website informative and that it provides you with all the essential information, as well as keeping you informed of what’s going on in our beautiful harbour.
The harbour retains a vibrant fishing fleet, as well as RNLI station – home to historic lifeboats – and angling charter vessels.
The Port of Wells caters for a growing leisure trade, both for locally-owned boats and, increasingly, as a popular destination for visiting vessels from all over the UK and Europe. Sailing and other water-based leisure activities take place in the harbour, and the town itself has a thriving sailing club and a water ski club. However, please note that jetski-type craft and hovercraft are not permitted.
